Adult Classes

Learn the way that is best for you: on-line or in a classroom setting. Vista, XP, Office 2003, Office 2007 and many other application classes are available.  Some examples:

Intro to Word-Learn to add, move through, and edit text; move words from one part of your document to another; change the size or appearance of text; change margins and tab settings; automatically center, right align, justify, and indent text; and save, retrieve, copy, organize, and print your documents.

Intro to Excel-This course familiarizes students with the basic features of Microsoft Excel 2003, including entering text and formulas, moving data, formatting worksheet appearance, and manipulating charts.

Intro to Access-Learn the basic building blocks of Access by creating, designing, and editing tables. Insert, update and delete data in these tables. Find the data you want by creating simple queries and filters. Design simple forms and reports.

Intro to Windows XP-This course covers all the basic skills and concepts needed to use a computer. This course will teach you how to work with text, pictures, photos, sound, music, DVD, Interactive TV, and video; create shortcuts, and customize the interface.

Intro to Publisher-Produce great looking marketing materials and professional newsletters, create and publish exceptional web sites. Publisher packs a tremendous number of features into an intuitive and user-friendly interface.

Intro to PowerPoint-Create overhead transparencies, 35-mm slides, and electronic slide presentation. Create your own multimedia slides, charts, outlines, and graphs. Learn how to add clip art, hypertext links, and special effects to your presentations.

Intro to eBay™-Learn how to maneuver through eBay and the basics of this overwhelmingly popular website. New

Technology-Would a Palm Pilot help you? Have you seen a digital camera? Are you familiar with usb drives? Get a sampling of what’s new in the technology field.

Troubleshooting-How to take care of your computer—inside and out.  This course also covers the basics of what goes wrong.

Word-the beginning—A very slow and thorough introduction to the basics of Microsoft Word. This class concentrates on creating, editing, spell checking and printing a document.

Email 1 and 2-A very relaxed beginning to Email. In the first session you will create your own email address account and learn to send an email. In the second session, we will work on attachments, sending photos, and answer your email questions.

Digital Camera-The basics of digital camera use. We will use Picasa to edit and print photos.
