Our Mission: To enable the community through the creative use of technology.
Preschool – For 17 years, Fast Forward has worked with area preschools to provide an introduction to technology to 4 year-olds. Our first group is graduating high school this year.
Youth – Fast Forward has offered after-school and summer programs for 1st-9th-grade students since 2000. These programs are expected to return in the summer of 2017. Watch for announcements.
Veterans - For over 10 years, Fast Forward has worked with veterans transitioning to employment. From providing certifications and resumes to employment search skills, we have helped over 800 veterans find applicable jobs.
Technology classes for small businesses and nonprofits – For fourteen years, Fast Forward has offered classes in Microsoft™ Office products, iPad, Kindle, Internet Safety, and many other programs.
Operation Certification - provides scholarships for on-line technology certifications for veterans, youth and those who are underemployed. The scholarships are provided by the Creating IT Futures Foundation. Certifications include A+, Network+ and Security+. In order to find out if you qualify, please contact tarver@fastforwardctc.com. Prior work in the IT industry, military experience or a degree is required.
Special Seminars - offered throughout the year in areas of interest including Webpage design, Web accessibility and Internet Safety for adults, businesses, and children with the City of Columbia Police Department. We also provide information in regards to understanding poverty alongside free and open resources.
